Tall Ships Festival: When May 26 – 28, 2012 Where Greenport,NY Description Greenport will host the Tall Ships fleet on Memorial Day Weekend (May 26th – 28th) as part of the TALL SHIPS CHALLENGE® Race Series. The sail begins in Savannah, Georgia (May 3-7), races up the East Coast to Greenport, Long Island, then to Newport, Rhode Island (July 6-9) and Halifax, Nova Scotia (July 19-23). Once at port, visitors can board the training ships and meet with crews who are enjoying a sea education. Viewing the GREENPORT TALL SHIPS is a one of a kind experience!
