never thought possible. She has tied to palm trees in sleepy lagoons, with aboriginal
natives and their log dugout canoes. Sailed the northlands in it's mysterious mists,
hiding the coves and magnificent cliffs, waiting for sunshine as it always comes, to dry
and warm those leisure days. Crossed the mighty oceans, in calms and storms, for she's an
adventuress and was made by me to share life's moments around the sea.
Over the last twenty years, Captain Rob Fortune's professional experience has included boat design and construction maintenance, repair and marine operations. He is USCG licensed for ocean vessels and has logged over 150,000 sea miles. Rob has personally sailed Marantha to ports of Asia, the pacific, Central America, the Caribbean, the Atlantic and Nova Scotia.
During the winter seasons he charters out of Charlotte Amalie, US Virgin Islands and is a member of the Virgin Islands charter yacht league
From mid-May to late September, Marantha is available for charter out of Boston, Massachusetts. Sailing areas are from New York, Cape and Islands, North to Maine and Novia Scotia. Marantha is licensed for U.S. coastal trade.
Rob personally attends to every detail on board Marantha, assuring that his strict standards for efficiency, maintenance, and service are met.

The spaciously designed custom interior creates an inviting atmosphere unequalled in the charter vessels of comparable size. From the forward crew's cabin to the aft deluxe double state room, the efficient design allows you maximum comfort.
The main salon is pleasantly appointed with numerous opening ports and skylights. The cross ventilation is excellent and the atmosphere open and airy.
Marantha offers the luxuries of your own home; stereo cassette and CD player with surround sound, 2 color TV's VCR player and camera with video and still picture capture through computer to internet, Great BBQ on deck and much more.
